We are pleased to announce the 6th International Congress on ECMO and short-term circulatory/respiratory support, which will be held in Paris 25-26 June 2015.

Following our very successful joint meeting with Euro ELSO in 2014, we are pleased to build on our well-established event with a strong program showing the latest results in the field of ECMO.
This is an important learning and networking opportunity for intensivists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, pediatric surgeons, general surgeons,perfusionists, respiratory therapists, intensive care nurses and all other professionals interested in the care of patients with both cardiac and respiratory failure.

The program will cover practical aspects of managing ECMO and will also provide a thorough overview of other short-term circulatory/respiratory support devices.

Practical workshops, as well as dedicated sessions for nurses will be an additional major feature.

Hands-on cannulation courses are held throughout the year. Please consider booking for one of these beneficial training classes, working with live animals. Structured teaching in groups of 4 is provided at the Fer à Moulin surgical school in Paris. Participants are instructed on all stages of venous and arterial cannulation use (from set-up and staffing to securing lines).
